Family Council
Vision Family Council is an organized group of family members and resident representatives of Vision’s long-term care homes, fostering a culture of respect, collaboration, and open communication for better living for Vision residents and their loved ones.
As a newcomer, learn from other residents’ loved ones: gain first-hand knowledge and guidance about the practical things you may not learn from Vision onboarding, but for which you might be expected to be responsible. Access reading material, guidelines, and other educational opportunities like seminars with experts to build better understandings of the long-term care system and the experience of residents in care. Develop an optimistic attitude toward aging and grow into any new roles as a loved one of a Vision resident.
Increase your confidence in the quality of life and care at Vision. Vision Family Council works collectively to ensure enriching and fulfilling daily experience with quality care and wellness activities. Council meetings are a forum for discussion and decision-making regarding the quality of life for Vision residents.
Meetings Held on, the third Wednesday of September, November, January, March, and May or as required.
How to join? All Family members and persons of interest are automatically members of Family Council. Meetings are held in person or on Zoom.
